Hotel Les Manoirs des Portes de Deauville is committed to protecting the environment.
It was only natural for us to adopt this green vision approach, initially through simple gestures - sorting waste, eliminating single-use plastic wherever possible... - and then through strategies and objectives, which we aim to perfect every day.
How do we combine this approach with the satisfaction of our customers, in their quest for luxury and comfort?
RENEWAL OF THE LINEN IN THE ROOM
Linen management is one of the most important aspects of our business. We make our customers aware of this, and they can choose to have their bathroom linen changed only on request. Our room amenities are made of recycled plastic.
WE ENCOURAGE OUR CUSTOMERS AND ENGAGE OUR EMPLOYEES
Through a display for our customers and training for our employees, we encourage them to reduce their water and energy consumption. Turning off the lights, the air conditioning... these gestures are far from trivial.
WE VALUE THE PRODUCTS OF OUR REGION
At Les Manoirs des Portes de Deauville, a rigorous selection of local producers with rich terroirs and suppliers favoring short circuits are at the heart of our approach to the local economy.
WE DEVELOP SLOW TOURISM / ECO MOBILITY
Today, we'd like to take our commitment to reducing our ecological footprint even further, with the green experiences we've created for you. Discover the culture of Normandy, Deauville and its hinterland by bike, provided by our hotel, but also on foot with direct access from our park to the Touques marshes and discover the local flora and fauna (protected area).
WE USE ECO-CERTIFIED CLEANING PRODUCTS
Maintenance is one of the most recurrent tasks at our facility. We are therefore making an ecological effort by choosing eco-certified cleaning products with environmentally-friendly labels, and reusable microfiber cloths.
WE REDUCE WATER AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Our lighting features low-energy LED bulbs, including the period chandelier in the main Manor House. Room lights are activated via the room card inserted in a box.
WE PRESERVE AND RESPECT NATURE
With our green space of almost 3ha, we encourage respect for biodiversity by building up a plant palette and practicing differentiated management of the herbaceous stratum. We have created and landscaped a green space with an orchard (apple trees, pear trees, flowers...) to welcome our customers in a green setting.
THE END OF PLASTIC BOTTLES
Our house has done away with plastic bottles in the bedroom and replaced them with French charcoal-filtered water jugs.

At Les Manoirs des Portes de Deauville, we are committed to working with renowned local producers, such as "O producteurs tranquille", and "Michel Bréavoine"; "Père Magloire, "Château Dubreuil"; boulangerie "Séraphin", who favor environmentally-friendly methods and short circuits. By selecting products from rich, authentic terroirs, we support the local economy while offering our customers fresh, quality produce direct from our region's producers.
